Want more information about the food pantry?
The CAI Amesbury Center Food Pantry got its start in Amesbury through a collaboration of churches in Amesbury and Merrimac. Our food comes from the Merrimack Valley Food Bank in Lowell. Food donations are also provided by local civic organizations including; The Newburyport Howard Benevolent Society, Amesbury Health Care Trust, as well as many individual community members.
Individuals and families may visit the food pantry twice per month to receive food assistance.
What does the Clothing Bank offer?
The CAI Amesbury Center partners with three retail clothing stores in the Seacoast: Childrenโs Orchard in Amesbury, Trendsetterโs Boutique in Amesbury, and Pandoraโs Box in Salisbury. Each store donates clothing weekly that our volunteers transport and work tirelessly to sort, fold, and hang, so that our closet is ready for client shopping appointments. Socks and underwear for children and adults are provided by private donors and The Howard Benevolent Society of Newburyport.
Please call 978-388-2570 to complete a new client intake by phone, to set up an appointment to shop. There are no income requirements.
