Drop In Center

Open each weekday morning all year, the Community Action, Inc. Drop-in Center serves as a safe haven for homeless and indigent individuals, including the elderly and those at risk for substance abuse and HIV. It is the area’s only drop-in day program for this population. Services include assistance and advocacy to access essential resources; on-site basic medical care, screening, and referrals; daily light breakfasts; a bagged lunch on Mondays, a full breakfast on Thursdays; and free clothing.
